At the beginning of the movie, when the camera shows the Ardor residence and Dani's parents dying in their sleep from Terri's suicide, you can clearly see a laurel-like arrangement of flowers laid on a picture of a young girl, presumably Dani as a child. This foreshadows Dani being crowned the May Queen of HÃ¥rga during the Midsommar festivities.
