Most of the characters have evolved since their first appearance. Sheldon (Jim Parsons): He gains more feelings about women, and even gets physical with Amy (Mayim Bialik), and tells her he loves her. Leonard (Johnny Galecki) becomes more confident and marries Penny. Howard (Simon Helberg): He is less creepy than he was in the first season, and finally settled down. Raj (Kunal Nayyar): He can now speak to women without being drunk. Amy (Mayim Bialik): She is less like Sheldon, and not as robotic.
