On April 6, 2020 drag performer Coco Peru, who had a small role at the beginning of the film, posted a brief video on YouTube in which she reminisced about working with actor Patrick Swazye, as well as getting to work on a large drag-themed production with other performers like herself. She also displayed a silver Tiffany and Co makeup compact, which Swazye had sent her as a thank you for providing insight for his role in the film. Peru admitted to later finding out that Swazye had given them out as gifts to all the drag queens he had gotten to know during the production.
