George Harrison was a big fan of the Austin Powers franchise. The very last letter he wrote was to Mike Myers, praising him for his work. The letter was never mailed but coincidentally ended up in Myers' hands the day the former Beatle died. It was on that day when the scene for the Hollywood movie version ("starring" Tom Cruise, Gwyneth Paltrow, Kevin Spacey and Danny DeVito, and "directed" by Steven Spielberg) of Austin Powers' life was shot. Prior to that moment, Myers had never met Harrison and "cried like a baby" when he received the letter, which is now in a frame in his home.
