In Victor Salva's Poho county blog, he stated that he initially wanted Justin Long to record Darry's scenes completely naked and made up as if he had no eyes. Long initially accepted the proposal although later it was decided to film the scenes of darry in a shirt, something that according to salva had relieved Justin long.
