Director of photography Jordan Cronenweth was just starting to really suffer from the Parkinson's disease that would ultimately kill him, and was often quite weak during the long days and nights of filming. By the end of the production, he was in a wheelchair, but according to director Sir Ridley Scott, Cronenweth was a real trooper who did his work throughout the difficult shoot until the end.
