This was not the first Clint Eastwood directed movie in which he sang. Eastwood recorded a duet with Merle Haggard heard in Bronco Billy (1980). While in the same year as that movie, Eastwood sang another duet, this time with legend Ray Charles, titled "Beers to You", and heard in Fai come ti pare (1980).
