Garry Marshall: [bit player] Allan Kent (Lou Trout) plays a small but key role as the person whose camera flash precipitates Maggie's final wedding escape. He is also the waiter who catches Vivian's (Julia Roberts) flying escargot in Pretty Woman (1990), and who is a waiter (possibly the same one, now in a different job) in the scene in Marshall's Pretty Princess (2001) when Mia shatters her glass while attempting a toast. In the latter two films, he even reassures the embarrassed leading character with the exact same line: "It happens all the time."
