Disney received many letters of complaint and even a demand for the events narrated in the episode "A Tree Huggin 'Bunny" where despite Mr. Whiskers did the impossible to save a tree in the end this ends cut. Many activists and environmentalists branded the program as an advocate of environmental deterioration.
