Chad reverses the usual stereotype as it is shown that Liv was trying to have sex with him in their relationship instead of the other way around, seeing as he's the jock. In the end, Chad doesn't succumb to his girlfriend's pressure and, perhaps without realizing it, inadvertently survived due to the rules stated by his uncle Randy in the original Scream about not having sex and even gives Liv a reason why, much to her annoyance. Ironically, it is Mindy that ends up having sex instead of Chad but she and Frances get interrupted after the party guests get kicked out by Richie. It should be noted, however, that Mindy and Frances were not in a relationship and it's implied that it was likely going to be a one night stand.
