Only a handful characters from the original trilogy make prominent appearances in the Sequel trilogy, mainly Luke, Leia, Han, Chewie, Threepio, Artoo, Lando, Wedge, Yoda, and Palpatine. All are characters prominently featured in the Original Trilogy and the Prequel Trilogy. However, none of the characters introduced in the Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008), Star Wars: Rebels (2014), Solo: A Star Wars Story (2018), or The Mandalorian (2019) are featured, most notably Ahsoka Tano, Darth Maul, Qi'Ra, or Grogu.
