Then-rookie and newcoming actress Kim Tae-ri found out about the project online, through an audition notice that required a newcomer for the leading role, which required "nude scenes with maximum exposure" that "could not be negotiated." According to Tae-ri, it was a "tough decision," but after giving the role a lot of thought, she auditioned and got the part, which ultimately became her breakthrough.
