(at around 50 mins) The brown and yellow leather jacket given to Logan by the old couple (Travis and Heather Hudson) is the same jacket he's wearing in the bar fight scene near the beginning of X-Men (2000), and is a nod to Wolverine's brown and yellow costume from the 1980s.
