Ben Miller (DI Richard Poole) was in Armstrong and Miller (1997); Kris Marshall (DI Humphrey Goodman) was in My Family (2000); Ardal O'Hanlon (DI Jack Mooney) was in Father Ted (1995); and Ralf Little (DI Neville Parker) was in The Royle Family (1998).
