At the climax of the film, it is revealed that Elijah Price hacked and downloaded all the footage of the Beast and the Overseer battling to a private server in order to upload it to social media websites. To which, as a result, Doctor Staple is seen screaming in rage and anger. Despite her outer persona as a seemingly compassionate woman who wants to help people who suffer delusions of 'grandeur' of being superheroes, this shows that she was evil to the core since her society was hellbent on keeping humanity from unlocking their potential.
