A villager voiced by Enrico Casarosa is playing Scopa, which is a popular card game played with an Italian deck of cards. You can see one of those designs close up on the card that Alberto tries to steal at the beginning and which Luca later finds. And the reverse of the card with it's picture of a town in the top half reflected in the lower half is a detail referencing the underwater civilisation beneath the sea right by Portorosso.
