Out of concern of a lawsuit for the use of the word Frisby, the animators reworked sequences to change the saying of Frisby to Brisby, and the voice actors were brought back to re-do their lines. However, they could not get John Carradine back, so they had to manipulate the audio tape and film stock to deliver the effect of The Great Owl saying Brisby.
