At L'89° Academy Awards (2017) in 2017, was the subject of a skit featuring host Jimmy Kimmel. Kimmel, who has had a long running joke feud with the film's star Matt Damon, described the "magical" experience of watching the film for the first time and said that it is the perfect summation of Matt Damon as an actor, as he tries so hard and makes it work despite having no talent whatsoever.
