It is not revealed until the final scenes that Ahch-To is part of a binary solar system. As Luke is dying he watches the binary sunset, just as he did on Tatooine in Star Wars: Episodio III - La vendetta dei Sith (2005) (as a baby) and Guerre stellari (1977) (as a young man wishing for a life of adventure).
