All of the cast have fond memories of working on this mini-series, saying it was one of the best experiences of their lives on the DVD commentary. This was mirrored twenty-seven years later, when all of the kids who worked on It (2017) called the three-month shoot the best summer of their lives, and claimed that they were all best friends on-screen and in real-life.
