Another subtle foreshadowing that Ms. Collins is the older Sandie is a strategically placed use of Cilla Black's "Anyone Who Had a Heart". It's first used in Ellie's first dream, when Sandie is out on the town with Jack believing this is the beginning of her dreams come to life. It reappears during the climax before Ms. Collins, playing her old Cilla Black records, eventually reveals to Ellie how her dreams were stolen from her, showing her in the life she was eventually forced into.
