Kristen Schaal said she was fired for "talking to much" a little over a month after being hired as a writer for the show in 2007. Schaal, who was a huge fan of the show, said it was her first TV writer job, but she admits she wasn't used to working in a writer's room and started pitching ideas way too much instead of following protocol. She was given warnings and then finally let go.
