Both Aaron Eackhart and Maggie Gyllenhaal would go on to appear in similar films featuring a terrorist attack on the White House, bothe released in 2013. Eackhart played President Benjamin Asher in Attacco al potere - Olympus Has Fallen (2013), while Gyllenhaal played Secret Service Agent Finnerty in Sotto assedio - White House Down (2013).
