First James Bond movie in the official series since 'Dr. No' (1962) where Jamaican scenes were filmed on location. 'Dr. No.' (1962) was the first James Bond movie in the official series. The interval between the two pictures is fifty-eight years. In 'Live and Let Die' (1973), Jamaica was the filming location for the fictitious state of "San Monique".
