The film was produced by Regal Films through its independent outfit, Good Harvest, which was known for its compact budgets and short shooting and post production schedules dubbed as "Pito-pito" (Seven-seven). Director Maryo J. de los Reyes mentioned in an interview that the production went over the alloted budget and instead of taking days 7 days to shoot, it took 21 days.
