The 26th March 1981 edition of show-business trade paper 'Daily Variety' stated that this film was part of a six-picture package from a private-investment partnership. The reported US $4.5 million budget on the movie was actually much greater than the production cost as it included "an overhead fee of twenty-five percent of pre-production budget costs".
