The creators got a lot of mileage out of the height difference between Principal Weems (played by 6'3" Gwendoline Christie) and everyone else, especially Wednesday. Weems towers over the rest of the cast and is often filmed from a low angle to accentuate her height. Christie said in interviews she loved the glamorous look of the character.
