(at around 5 mins) WALL·E stores his video tape of Hello, Dolly! (1969) inside a toaster. This is a pun on "Video Toaster" which was an early video hardware/software combo for the Amiga computer and used for 3D animation on both consumer and professional levels, including a few episodes of I Simpson (1989). Video Toaster won a Technical Achievement Emmy in 1993.
