Sandra Bernhard said in the DVD extras that Jerry Lewis was uncomfortable while filming; she said it was because he came from a more standoffish generation, like her own parents. Later, in the 1990's, she stated on Howard Stern that she ran into Jerry and he was excited to see her, and showed her pictures of his new baby.
