Matthew Hall, son of Sam Hall and Grayson Hall (Dr. Julia Hoffman from Dark Shadows (1966)), claimed he enjoyed the movie, but didn't like what they did with his mother's role: "My mother, short and fat and drinking anything besides black tea first thing in the morning? Sorry, you must have the wrong Dr. Hoffman!"
