The characters of Lois Lane and Lana Lang have both taken the mantle of Superwoman in the comics, more recently during the "Rebirth" event. When the overcharged Superman exploded, the two women gained super powers after the blast struck them. Other characters to have become Superwoman include Lois' sister, Lucy, and Kara Zor-El herself.
