All four pilots in the simulator scenes were actually airline pilots. Lori Cline, the pilot of the Teterboro simulation, was a U.S. Airways check pilot for the A320 and was also involved in the actual crash investigation of Flight 1549 working as the airline's rep for the National Transportation Safety Board's (N.T.S.B.'s) Operations Team.
