One year after this movie's release, the Ewoks had their own spin-off movies, L'avventura degli Ewok (1984) and Il ritorno degli Ewok (1985) which came out a year later. In the movie, the Ewoks agree to help the Towani siblings rescue their parents from the Gorax giant, after their spaceship crashes on Endor, leaving them stranded.
