Most of the songs in the movie have elements of each other within the melodies. The opening song, "The Family Madrigal" contains the line, "We don't talk about Bruno." In "What Else Can I Do," when Mirabel sings the line, "You just seem like your life's been a dream from the moment you opened your eyes," it is to the same tune as Isabela's solo in "We Don't Talk About Bruno." Most prominently, "All Of You" contains (fittingly) melodic lines from many of the other songs in the film. The first lines that Mirabel sings are the same melody as "The Family Madrigal."Camilo sings, "So, we're gonna talk about Bruno" to the tune of "We Don't Talk About Bruno."Isabela's line "It's a dream when we work as a team..." is the same melody as her solo from "We Don't Talk About Bruno."The line that Luisa sings, "I may not be as strong, but I'm getting wiser..." is the same melody as the "Give it to your sister" lyrics in "Surface Pressure."
