Will Friedle was to sing "Take Me Out to the Ballgame" at Wrigley Field in 2000 but plans were cancelled when he had already committed to working on a new show called "Kim Possible". Ironically enough William Russ (Alan Matthews) was asked to be Friedle's replacement and he meekly agreed and did commentary for the bottom of the 7th inning on WGN.
