Millie Bobby Brown revealed in an interview with Vanity Fair in November 2022 that her kiss with Finn Wolfhard in the first season was her first kiss ever. She also pointed out that she thought he was a lousy kisser. In January 2023 on The Drew Barrymore Show (2020), Wolfhard responded saying her remark didn't bother him because he and Brown are like siblings who grew up together on the set of the show. He also pointed out it was his first onscreen kiss too, so he didn't know how to approach it. Joking, he said he probably would have done the same thing if he wasn't on screen in front of the entire world.
