Deborah Voorhees said in a 2012 interview that she shot her nude sex and death scene on her first day on set. She said she was very young and it was a very tough and brutal 13 hour day. Not only was she very nervous about being totally naked in front of the mostly male crew (it was her very first nude scene ever), but she couldn't see anything after they covered her eyes with the bloody makeup effects. They filmed the outdoor sex scene first where she rolled around during several shots knowing everyone could see every part of her exposed body. Then they took her to a trailer to apply the makeup which took a couple of hours. It was cold in the trailer and she was still naked under her robe. After that she had to be lead back to the set where she stood around as the fake blood leaked through and burned her eyes. When they were ready to shoot, she would remove her robe and someone helped her lay on the blanket. The director then positioned her for the scene in each shot. She felt really exposed and vulnerable at that point because she had no idea who was looking at her or which part of her body they were staring at. She said they shot tons of footage while she lay there naked but only used a few minutes of it.
