Steven Wicks has attempted to kill Jane Beale twice. In the 12th October 2007 broadcast, Steven shot Jane when Ian and Jane confronted him about punishing him for his mother Cindy's death. In the 7th September 2017 broadcast, Steven sets fire to Jane's restaurant, which is a deadly trap set for her by Steven and Max Branning and Jane is left in the fire to die.
