This is Jim Carrey's first collaboration with Cary Elwes. The second one was on Disney's A Christmas Carol (2009). He also worked with Amy Yasbeck in The Mask - Da zero a mito (1994), and before Cary Elwes worked with Amy Yasbeck on Robin Hood - Un uomo in calzamaglia (1993). Additionally, in the film Una parola può cambiare tutto - Yes Man (2008), Carrey's character is seen watching Elwes in a scene from the film Saw - L'enigmista (2004).
