Years later in the wake of the release of Halloween Ends (2022), actresses Scout Taylor-Compton and Danielle Harris from the Rob Zombie remakes would share their bitter experience with Jamie Lee Curtis, the original Laurie Strode actress who first appeared in Halloween (1978). In an after-premiere party of Halloween Ends, Harris tried to introduce herself as a veteran actor of the Halloween franchise like Curtis (Harris played Jamie Lloyd in Halloween 4: The Return of Michael Myers (1988), Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers (1989), Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers (1995); and Annie Brackett in Halloween (2007) and Halloween II (2009)), but Curtis brushed her off, saying, "I've never seen those movies, I don't know who you are." Both Taylor-Compton and Harris would later leave the party disheartened.
