Partially due to Covid-19 restrictions, the format of season 13 differs from the previous ones. Rather than some "underlying arc" serving as link between the episodes wherever the Doctor went from one episode to the next or a concise story occupying two consecutive episodes at most, the whole of season 13 is just a straight up continuous story which was filmed in the same location from start to finish. This is in effect a bit of callback to the Classics, where one, concise story would more often than not occupy at least four consecutive episodes. Edit: There are in fact three more episodes filed under the 13th season set, but these are all individual "Specials"; one for New Year's, one for Easter and finally a specific "Centenary Special" (which also serves to wrap up the 13th Doctor's story).
