Interstate scenes were filmed along I-10 in Alabama's Baldwin County. During this time, Burt Reynolds and Sally Field staying at the Grand Hotel in Point Clear, south of Fairhope. In one of the scenes allegedly on a Mississippi interstate, Mobile Bay can clearly be seen in the distance.
