Although Agnes Moorehead had agreed to play Endora, on the show, she really hated filming, since it forced her to get up at 4:45 a.m., start makeup at 6:00 a.m. and continue filming often until 8:00 p.m.; obviously the reason she originally insisted on not appearing on every episode.
