Mr. Freeze's role in this TV series was originally going to be just a one-off gag appearance, where Terry was getting a can of soda for Bruce and, in an awkward moment, would find Mr. Freeze's bodiless head in the refrigerator and they would briefly stare at each other, after which Terry would close the refrigerator and give the soda can to Bruce. This was discarded because it was considered to be an insulting and unfitting ending for this character.
