Eric Matthews (Will Friedle) humorously suspects on several occasions that Farkle Minkus (Corey Fogelmanis) is a robot but is confirmed to be a real boy by his mother, Jennifer Bassett-Minkus (now married to Stuart Minkus), played by Kristanna Loken, reprises her guest role from Boy Meets World (1993). Ironically, Loken made her acting debut playing a robot, a T-X, in Terminator 3: Rise of the Machines (2003).
