According to Brian Levant as a guest on Gilbert Gottfried's Amazing Colossal Podcast!: before shooting Elizabeth Taylor's scene where her character was tied up, Brian had become distracted and accidentally stepped on Taylor's bare foot and caused her to scream. Taylor had to leave to be tended to, holding the production up for 30 minutes. Taylor came out with her foot bandaged and using crutches, subsequently freaking out Brian Levant. Levant apologized profusely when the crew started laughing along with Taylor as they were pranking him when she revealed it was a ruse.
