Along with Glory - Uomini di gloria (1989), Allarme rosso (1995), Independence Day (1996), and Il cavaliere oscuro (2008), this is one of only five films whose purely orchestral soundtracks won the Grammy Award for Best Score despite not being nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Score.
