Four queens got a second chance to compete in the season following their original season's elimination: D.J. 'Shangela' Pierce (Shangela) was the first eliminated in season two due to lack of experience and poor sewing ability, but made it to the top six on season three; Cynthia Lee Fontaine (Cynthia Lee Fontaine) was the third queen eliminated on season eight, and returned on season nine, securing once again a 10th-place finish; David Huggard (Eureka O'Hara) was removed from season nine, episode five, due to a torn ligament, but finished as a runner up on season ten; Jose Luis Cancel (Vanessa Vanjie Mateo) was eliminated in the first episode of season ten, and placed fifth on season 11.
