The food not knowing they are in danger is similar to the passengers of RMS Titanic as the food refuse to believe humans will eat them while the passengers of Titanic refused to believe the ship will sink after hitting an iceberg in 1912 believing the ship to be 'unsinkable' only for the characters in this film and the passengers to realise they were wrong and meet their demise.
