The job was that Bandit and Snowman had to drive from their location in Georgia to Texarkana, TX, pick up 400 cases of beer, and return within 28 hours. The round trip according to them was 1800 miles. They would have to average just under 65 miles per hour for the entire trip to make it. Of course, that doesn't allow time for sleeping, eating, fuel stops, etc.
